Terms of Service
This document governs your use of budgetku (the "Service") operated by the budgetku team. By signing up or using the Service, you accept these Terms of Service.
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Service description
budgetku is a web app for personal finance and Indonesian SMB bookkeeping — covering accounts, transactions, budgets, and invoices with PPN 11%. We're actively developing new features; some may only be available on certain paid plans.
User account
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and up-to-date registration information.
- Keeping your password confidential; activity from your account is your responsibility.
- Verifying your email address to unlock all features.
- Not sharing account access with unauthorised parties.
Subscription and payment
Pro and Business plans are monthly subscriptions. Payments are processed via Midtrans using card, QRIS, e-wallet, or virtual account. An active period runs 30 days from confirmed payment. Payments are non-refundable unless required by law or at our discretion. You can cancel at any time — access drops to the Free plan at the end of the current active period.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal activity (money laundering, fraud, tax evasion).
- Access or attempt to access another user's account or workspace without permission.
- Use automated scraping, bots, or otherwise place undue load on the system.
- Send spam, malware, or unlawful content through the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or infringe IP rights.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with or without notice, particularly for serious breaches. After termination, personal authentication data is removed; workspace data may be retained per our retention policy (see Privacy Policy).
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from your use of the Service. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the total amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including Law No. 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection, Law No. 11/2008 jo. 19/2016 on Electronic Information and Transactions, and the Indonesian Civil Code.
Dispute resolution
Disputes are first resolved through good-faith discussion. If no agreement is reached within 30 days, disputes are resolved through the South Jakarta District Court, to the exclusion of any other forum.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and/or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. By continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the latest version.
